Important: Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using StudyLup. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and StudyLup ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the StudyLup mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using StudyLup, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
2.1 Age Requirements
- Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- Users between 13 and 18 years old must have parental or guardian consent
- We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time
2.2 Account Creation
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
2.3 Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use StudyLup for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
3.2 Acceptable Use
You agree to use StudyLup only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Remove, modify, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other users
- Share or distribute inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
- Use the Service to cheat on official examinations or assessments
- Commercially exploit the Service without our express written permission
3.3 Educational Use
StudyLup is designed as a supplementary learning tool. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or exam results. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of quiz content and should not rely solely on StudyLup for official examination preparation.
4. User-Generated Content
4.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of any quizzes, questions, comments, or other content you create or submit through StudyLup ("User Content"). However, by submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service.
4.2 Content Standards
All User Content must:
- Be accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Not contain false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Not infringe on intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties
- Not contain hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that promotes violence
- Not include personal information of others without their consent
- Not contain sexually explicit or inappropriate content
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4.3 Content Moderation
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, review, and remove User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We are not responsible for User Content created by third parties.
4.4 Copyright Infringement

5. Subscription and Payment
5.1 Free and Premium Plans
- Free Plan: Access to basic features with limitations
- Premium Plans: Enhanced features including unlimited quizzes, advanced analytics, ad-free experience, and priority support
5.2 Billing and Payments
- Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual)
- Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred
5.3 Free Trials
- Free trials may be offered for premium features
- You will be charged when the trial period ends unless you cancel before
- One free trial per user
- We reserve the right to determine trial eligibility
5.4 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
- Refunds may be provided at our discretion for service failures or errors
6. Intellectual Property Rights

StudyLup and all related content, features, functionality, software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
- Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Service
- Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
- Frame or mirror any part of the Service
7. Third-Party Services and Links
StudyLup may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for third-party content or services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and conditions.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
8.1 Service "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8.2 No Guarantees
We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Any defects will be corrected
- The content is accurate, complete, or up-to-date
8.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STUDYLUP AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StudyLup and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your User Content
- Your violation of any third-party rights
10. Dispute Resolution

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
12.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, or internet service provider failures.
